St Joseph's Hospice Collaboration T-shirt 'RIP'

This t-shirt slogan depicts the most often said 'cliche' when it comes to someone dying, 'rest in peace'. It highlights the awkwardness we have when we are trying to comfort someone who has lost a loved on, oftentimes, saying this phrase as a habit rather than a heart felt comment. I am not saying that it is wrong to say 'rest in peace' when someone dies, but i do think its worth drawing attention to this often overused phrase when referring to the afterlife. After all, are you really 'resting' when you die?
